Kid Cudi's 6th studio album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin, was released Thursday night, and Twitter was ready for it. The project, which has been made out to be something of a return to form for the rapper after years of experimentation, was delayed earlier this year after Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal thoughts. The wait was long and emotional for Cudi fans, but it seemed to all pay off when the album appeared on iTunes and streaming services around 11PM, with initial reactions to the LP being very positive. While fans did seem to align the project with Cudi's beloved Man On The Moon albums, they also praised his newly revealed gift of rumbling hums, which he showcased most famously on Kanye West's "Waves."
