Twitter is clamping down on President Donald Trump and his use of their platform. They've often been criticized for not going after Trump over his tweets that may house misinformation or uncredible sources, but it seems that Jack Dorsey and his crew have been listening. One of Trump's tweets that he fired off today (June 18) was labeled as "Manipulated Media" with an exclamation mark.
At this point, we can expect anything to come from the president's Twiter account. Back in September 2019, CNN ran a sweet story of these two children, and Black boy and a White boy. A video clip of the two kids went viral, showing them playing with one another and they giggled and laughed, running to and from each other.
On Thursday, Trump shared the same video of the children that included a CNN logo and the photoshopped headline that said, "Terrified Toddler Runs From Racist Baby." Then, the headline switches to, "Racist Baby Probably a Trump Voter" before the meme switches to show that the kids were actually friends. It all was to insinuate that CNN takes videos and makes Trump look bad, but the public, nor Twitter, was having it. Check it out below.
