The case against Trey Songz by Andrea Buera who claims the singer beat her up during a party in February is still going strong. The last we posted on the matter was reports that Trey was looking to stop Andrea from getting background information on him to strengthen her case. “It is clear that Petitioner’s true motivation is to gather information for a future lawsuit and to use that information to pressure” him into a settlement, documents read.
According to TMZ, Andrea is not backing down one bit as the publication reports that she is now suing him. Trey was arrested for the attack, but the case was later dropped due to insufficient evidence. As the story goes, Trey chased Andrea out of an NBA All-Star after party and attacked her because she was talking to another man. She claims Trey choked her and punched her and the beating only stopped because of a nearby security guard.
Apparently, Trey also forced her to take her shorts off in the street, saying they belonged to his friend. Andrea is said to be suing for medical expenses and other damages.
