Earlier this week, Travis Scott declared he was back in "ALBUM MODE" on Twitter, and his comments at a recent show support the statement. "I think this might be the last club I'm gonna do until my album come out," he tells fans in a video making the rounds on Twitter. "I'm about to go away, in hiding for like a couple weeks, couple months."
Of course, Travis has been readying not one but two new projects, which he insisted would both be released in the near future. "Me and Quavo album about to drop real soon, Astroworld about to drop real soon."
Travis and Quavo of Migos have been teasing a collaborative album for the good part of 2017, while Travis announced Astroworld, his next solo studio album, even before releasing Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight last September. In just under a year, Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight and three of its tracks ("Pick Up The Phone," "Beibs In The Trap," and "Goosebumps") have all been certified platinum or multi-platinum.
While working on his own material, Travis is still constantly being tapped for features. He recently appeared on Major Lazer's "Know No Better" as well as DJ Khaled and Calvin Harris' "Don't Quit." Earlier this month, he was spotted in the studio with fellow hitmaker Metro Boomin. Metro and Travis previously worked together on the gold-certified single "3500" from Rodeo.
