Travis Scott has announced the opening of his new store in Houston. The S.P.A.C.E. 2019 shop is a joint venture between the rapper and his longtime friend Chase B, who also works within the music industry as a DJ. The pair chose to locate their establishment in Rice Village.
Although the shop was christened through a soft opening over the weekend, enthusiasts will only have access to the location in 2019 when S.P.A.C.E. 2019 officially launches. The entrepreneurs organized a popup event ahead of Astroworld Festival this past weekend. Chase announced the exclusive event on social media.
"We’ll be here for good starting 2019 but for right now come through the pop up."
Travis Scott's announcement also acknowledged his enthusiasm for the endeavor, stating that he and his associate " always had this dreaming of opening a store in the city."
Based on previous reports, fans can expect S.P.A.C.E 2019 to eventually include a wide range of products like fragrances, clothing,, beverages and cosmetics. Travis was said to have filed for the brand's trademark in September.
Astroworld festival was completely sold out with a hype lineup including Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee and Travis Scott himself. The city of Houston has officially dubbed November 16 as Astroworld Day.
