The roll out for Nicki Minaj's Queen album has been interesting, to say the least. It feels like since the album dropped, it's been overshadowed by internet feuds, rants and general antics that have distracted most people from the great body of work she released. Earlier today, it was reported that she'd be sitting in front of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner at the VMA's after dragging both of their names into a Twitter rant about her underwhelming first-week sales. However, it looks Travis and Kylie have managed to avoid the awkward encounter with the Queen rapper as they've reportedly switched seats.
According to TMZ, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner have switched seats in order to be on the completely opposite side of the room from Nicki Minaj at the VMA's. The decision has nothing to do with any possible confrontation between the Astroworld rapper and the Queen emcee, but the decision seems to have a bit of shade thrown into it -- they don't want the artist with the #2 album on the chart seated in front of Travis, who holds the #1 position on the Billboard 200 for a second week in a row.
After Nicki Minaj threw shade at Miley Cyrus while accepting an award at the VMA's a few year back, it's probably a good idea to have Travis Scott and Kylie seated as far as possible from her. Who knows what could've gone down.
