With Kanye West and Drake's albums out of the way and Wiz Khalifa dropping tonight, plenty of high-profile heat has been coming our way this year. One of the only missing puzzle pieces is Travis Scott who has been quiet in terms of his own drops since Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. With Astroworld announcements dating as far back as a few years ago, fans already knew the order of events. Rodeo would come first, then Birds, then Astroworld. With the Quavo collaboration pieced in the middle, fans have been waiting for Astroworld and signs are pointing that it could be in the process of being finalized.
Complex did some snooping and noticed that a lot of producers and artists are in Hawaii right now. Similar to Kanye's Wyoming approach, Travis was seen in Honolulu with Kylie Jenner and daughter Stormi, renting out a massive Airbnb. TMZ reported that La Flame set up his studio and called down a bunch of his favorite producers and artists, assembling a superteam of FKi 1st, Allen Ritter, Frank Dukes, Nav, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Cash from XO, Sonny Digital, Wheezy, WondaGurl and, obviously, Mike Dean. Fans that have been fiending for any information regarding the album have collected as much evidence as possible that the crew is together in Hawaii, working on the completion of the album.
As one of the most anticipated projects of the year, Astroworld sounds like it could be as experimental and innovative as we all had hoped. Check out some of the posts from Hawaii below via Complex and cross your fingers that the album is as good as we hope.
