Squidnice kicks off week two of our weekly freestyle sessions. Presented by the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

When you think Staten Island, most rap fans will immediately point to the Wu-Tang Clan. However, the New York City borough has much more to offer. Squidnice is an up-and-coming rapper from Staten Island with a promising future ahead of him. His hit singles, "Trap By My Lonely" and "Clout" helped put the underground on notice with the former reaching a million views this past weekend.

At only 20 years old, the rapper has been making a name for himself within NYC and beyond. Over the past several years, you may have recognized his face from different places. He was most recently seen in Playboi Carti's "Magnolia" video. He's also translated his unique look into the fashion world as well, walking the runway for Hood By Air's Spring/Summer 2017 Collection. At a young age, he has a clear handle on his image and the direction of his music. It was roughly a month a go when he dropped his project The Craccen EP. The project helped solidify him as someone who could create a cohesive body of work. At this rate, he's definitely a young artist to keep an eye out for before he blows up.

Recently, he pulled up to our offices to drop a little something on the mic. Over some heavy production brought to you by our in-house video editor and producer, Loa Gaze, Squidnice brings his fun energy to the booth. Squidnice matches the haunting production while taking us back to when he used to trap by the deli.

Let us know what you think about his freestyle. While you do that, make sure you check out our inaugural freestyle session with Chaz French that dropped last week here. Make sure you check back in with us next Tuesday for OMB Peezy HNHH Freestyle Session (#003).

Check out BET's 2017 Hip Hop Awards on 10/10 at 8pm.

Ain't no problem, huh
I got shooters in Bronx and Harlem, aye
I got hoes in Queens, aye
She needs some Maybelline, aye
