We all knew Tinashe was an amazing dancer but come on... this is just too much. Many saw the singer taking a role on the show as somewhat of a "fall-off" but after her debut last night, it appears that she feels right at home. Tinashe has so much potential to be one of the stars in the R&B world and although she has yet to hit a serious stride, we all know she's got the skills (and the voice) to get there. Her dancing, for starters, is impeccable.
Last night was the season premiere of the 27th edition of Dancing With The Stars. Nashe arguably has the strongest name power out of the entire cast and she didn't disappoint, reaching the highest score of the night in her debut.
She and her partner Brandon Armstrong danced the jive to Meghan Trainor's "I'm A Lady," amassing a total score of 23 out of 30 points. That was enough to give them the highest score of the night, surely making them early favorites to win the entire show. Tinashe has already detailed her goals to make it to the season finale and as she continues to show a different side of her skill set, she will undoubtedly build a case for fans of the series to keep on voting.
The singer released a few songs in the summer after breaking up with Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers, titled "Throw A Fit" and "Like I Used To."
