It's about to go down. Yesterday, Swizz Beatz took to the stage before the McGregor/Mayweather press conference, where he publicly challenged his pal Timbaland to a beat battle. Well, it looks like Timbaland has answered the call. Timbo quickly posted up a video response in which he confidently accepts the challenge, all while bumping the theme song to Game Of Thrones.
"You hear that Game of Thrones?" says Timbo. "You have woken up the king."
Suffice it to say, this is exciting news for hip-hop fans. There's no word as to where or when the legendary producers will face off, but it should be a serious trip down memory lane. Both producers have countless hits, and there's no doubt that the hip-hop community will turn up in droves. Expect a live stream, similar to when Swizz battled Just Blaze last year.
