A new Balenciaga design has people everywhere confused about what exactly makes it worth the price.

Ever since Demna Gvasalia took over as creative director of Balenciaga a few years ago, the luxury high fashion brand has been testing the limits of the industry, bringing forth designs that can be considered questionable by some. As the head designer of Vetements, Gvasalia is no stranger to controversy within the fashion realm as he has previously released a "DHL" branded t-shirt for hundreds of dollars. With 50 Cent denouncing the Balenciaga Triple S sneakers just yesterday, the brand decided to step things up as they revealed their FW18 collection. While the prices are on par with their previous collections, one piece particularly stood out to people: the "T-Shirt Shirt."

With "two wearing options," the piece can either be worn as a button-up shirt with a t-shirt hanging from the back or as a t-shirt with a button-up shirt hanging from the front of your torso. While the idea is certainly innovative, the practicality of it and the general "WTF" value has many members of the internet community shaking their heads in unison.

Whether you're going for a casual look or if you're headed to the office, Balenciaga has you covered either way. Currently priced at $1,290, the "T-Shirt Shirt" is available for pre-order here. Orders are expected to be shipped out in late July if you want to witness the madness in person. Check out some of Twitter's best reactions below.
