It's been a minute since we've heard from singer Drew. We supported him back when he was going by Drew Love, and working quite frequently with Nikko Lafre Shawn Harris. However Drew done grown up (and has a Timbaland co-sign on deck, so you know it's real). He's linked with a fellow musician by the name of Dante to form the duo THEY. Drew handles the vocal aspect, while Dante is behind the production. For their debut, they've dropped a three-song EP, Nu Religion. They've merged forms of r'n'b and indie rock (a lot of guitar melodies) to create a truly unique soundscape on Nu Religion. Perhaps the dopest of the three records though, is "Motley Crue," which they'll be releasing a music video for shortly.
Beginning with a strumming guitar that pops up through out the record, Drew submerges the record in an r'n'b vibe, helped along by the cushy sounds of Dante. It's definitely an instant-replay record. Take a listen.
