The wildfires that are currently wreaking havoc on parts of Southern California continue to rage today, after strong winds gusting up to 50 mph only helped the blaze spread. According to Fox News, the fires have resulted in over 200,000 people being evacuated from their homes and nearly 200 buildings that have been confirmed as destroyed. Despite this terrifying situation, at least one member of the hip-hop community was focused on spreading some holiday cheer rather than getting caught up in the paranoia surrounding the ongoing wildfires.
The Game, posting to his official Instagram account, shared a picture of his Christmas tree that he was in the middle of preparing before he and his family were forced to evacuate their home. "Even though the fires got everybody evacuating their homes..... I was able to get the tree bout 75% done b4 we left," he said. "I’ll let my children swag the rest out but we lit."
There's no telling if his home is in an area that could be affected by the fire at a certain point, but the destruction so far has taken place close to several high-end Los Angeles neighborhoods, including Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. Hopefully The Game, his family and all those affected by the fires will stay safe and be able to re-enter their homes unscathed in the very near future.
