In what would likely be a surefire way to slow Tekashi 6ix9ine's meteoric ascent of the music industry, the controversial rapper is preparing for the worst in his ongoing court battle. After Tekashi pled guilty to the use of a minor in a sexual performance in 2015, the judge in his case gave him one final chance to pass the test, threatening to lock him up for up to three years if he is unable to do so.
According to judge Felicia Mennin, 6ix9ine has had more than enough time to hit the books and smarten up since the case was opened in 2015, claiming his inability to pass the GED was "ridiculous." With a court date set for tomorrow, the rapper faces up to three years and he is beginning to prepare his fans providing his worst case scenario comes to fruition. He is now claiming that the GED "is done, but you never know what the judge will say." The stipulations of his guilty plea were similar to those in NBA YoungBoy's case where the "Diamond Teeth Samurai" singer was recently forced to stay off social media for six months. Regardless of what the judge decides, he may face a similar fate as YoungBoy because of his inability to stay out of internet beefs.
6ix9ine's court date is set for tomorrow and more information is bound to appear then. We will keep you updated as developments become clear.
