Is 6ix9ine getting ready to drop another hit?

Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the most talked about figures in hip hop right now. While it's typically not for the greatest reasons, at least he's able to back up all the shit he talks with the success of his music. At this point, each single he's dropped has been doing well on the charts and his debut project, Day69, even debuted in the top 5 on Billboard's album charts. Now, he's getting ready to feed fans his first release since dropping his mixtape.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's been teasing the release of two singles for the past few weeks, "Gotti" and his remix to Rich The Kid's "Plug Walk." Yesterday, he had his fans vote which song they wanted him to come to first. He took to his Instagram story to reveal that "Gotti" is dropping on April 15th. He also revealed that his remix to "Plug Walk" would follow that but it's unsure when he plans on releasing that.

Following his hilarious interview with The Breakfast Club, the rapper revealed that he was in the Dominican Republic to shoot a new video which is likely for "Gotti." From the snippets he's shared, "Gotti" might be the first song he's ever dropped where he isn't yelling. It'll be exciting to hear the full version of it. If it ends up as successful as any of his other singles, it's a sign that he'll be in the game much longer than anyone expected.
