Yesterday, it was reported that Tekashi 6ix9ine, had made his grand return to the city of Los Angeles, despite the warnings, and it already seems that he's making the most of his time there.
DJ Akademiks posted a video on Instagram last night, showing Tekashi in a video chat on Instagram live with none other than Ohio rapper, Trippie Redd. This is significant, because despite being formerly signed to the same label, the two of them have been engaged in a long-standing beef for some time now.
The beef began after Tekashi's history of sexual misconduct was revealed, with Trippie stating that, "I’m sorry brozay, 1400 don’t promote pedophiles." This led to an altercation between Trippie and Tekashi's crew in a hotel lobby where Trippie was staying. Speaking after that incident, Trippie said, "This n---- 6ix9ine is done. He can’t come to LA at all. Never again. If 6ix9ine comes to LA, it’s over. I’m in New York right now. If y’all really think bro bout that, really go tell that n---- pull up right now."
With Tekashi's reappearance in L.A., it would seem that this would be the time for Trippie to make good on his threats. Watching the video, however, the two of them seem relatively cordial, with Tekashi asking Trippie for a location for them to meet up.
Could this possibly lead to the end of the beef between the two, or could we possibly see another escalation in their conflict? You can watch the video of the two of them video chatting below.
