Tekashi 6ix9ine is many things, including a professional troll. Therefore, it's difficult to discern whether or not he's telling the truth half the time. You have to give him credit; the rainbow haired rapper has a penchant for drama. While he's been busy coming through with a slow roll-out for his "latin album," Tekashi has continuously found time to cause some good old fashioned ruckus. His homie Akademiks recently posted some footage of the young rapper addressing some of his recent controversies, including allegedly being dropped from a $4.9 million Tunes Audio headphone deal.
According to Tekashi, however, the entire narrative was a one-sided fabrication. "That shit was fake," he says, "the dude from the headphones just wanted the publicity. That's why I didn't even address it...I literally never even spoke to the dude...They don't even got no money to pay!" Next up, he tackles the recent shooting at Barclay's Center, which culminated in a reported performance ban. Before he can provide a clear answer, a member of the squad slides in to confirm that 6ix9ine can indeed perform at the Barclay's Center; Tekashi mentions that he'll be gracing the stage on June 8th.
He's also asked about Bhad Bhabie, who has been firing shots in his direction at every occasion. Tekashi hits back with a page outta Rich The Kid's playbook, playing ignorant. "That's the Lil Tay girl right? They all the same girl to me." As he's leaving, 6ix9ine mentions that he's about to meet up with Kanye West "right now," which may very well be another trolling spell. It's hard to say when this was filmed, but we do know that Kanye West is set up in Wyoming, working on his upcoming five projects. Should this indeed be true, Tekashi must have been filmed before his departure.
Do you think we might be hearing a Kanye West/6ix9ine collabo in the future? Stranger things have happened.
