Taylor Swift opened a recent concert performance with simple chords on the piano and lesson on "Reputation." The pop singer decided not to name her assailants as she broke down her "resting state" since Kanye & Kim's snake comments turned a portion of the Internet community against her. She described the aftermath of that encounter as a bullying scenario which demanded her utmost strength and perseverance.

To make matters more disconcerting, the singer chose to use snake imagery in her stage setup. Her decision to capitalize off the debacle has led many to believe she is simply not over the drama. Taylor began her concert in Glendale, Arizona with a simple utterance of "A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on," before going into episodic detail about her period of self-reclamation.

Taylor elaborated her position by insisting the turncoats drove her to a point of madness: "Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media. And I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore." The monologue lasted a full 2 minutes before she concluded that she had learned a lesson of humility.
"I think that the lesson is that you shouldn’t care so much if you feel misunderstood by a lot of people who don’t know you, as long as you feel understood by the people who do know you." Kanye continues hit on insecure places in the fabric of many people's minds, Taylor Swift included.
