T-Pain got some fire in the cut.

T-Pain made an official come back in the music industry in 2017. The Florida singer was once the go-to guy for hooks but his pen game is always on point. The rapper came through in 2017 with a handful of remixes to some of the hottest songs including SahBabii's "Pull Up Wit Ah Stick." Recently, Pain previewed a freestyle over another song from two controversial Floridian rappers.

T-Pain hit Instagram to preview an upcoming cut that'll be on a new project. The singer previewed a freestyle he recorded over Kodak Black and XXXTENTACION's "Roll In Peace" single.

"Set my nigga @kodakblack free. That ain’t where he supposed to be. T-mixtape comin soon," he captioned the short video.

While Pain's known as a singer, he did clarify that he was a rapper prior and his latest freestyle proves his lyrical prowess. Pain's voice is covered in auto-tune, as to be expected, but he still drops off some heavy bars while calling on Kodak Black's freedom.

"I can't even roll in peace/ All my cars ocean green/ I can't even go to sleep/ Your bitch keep blowin' me," he raps, "Set my n*gga Kodak free/ That's not where he supposed to be."

He hasn't mentioned a release date for the mixtape but if this snippet is reflective of the project, it definitely sounds promising. Pain's been working hard lately and has a video for his single "May I" coming soon, that he'll also editing. Either way, it looks like we'll be getting new music from Pain soon.
