The SZA vocals have arrived.

DJ Khaled's Father Of Asahd is set to arrive on May 17th, marking the second executive producer go-around for the titular infant. Surely, there's a record being broken somewhere. As for the music itself, Khaled appears to be sticking with his traditional formula, playing the Nick Fury to hip-hop's "Avengers," as it were. We've seen him assemble Meek Mill, 21 Savage, Post Malone, and most recently, TDE's own SZA.

Last we saw SZA, she was in the midst of undergoing a transformation into a badass, Nigerian Igbo Warrior. Now, it would appear that DJ Khaled has shed further light on her involvement in Father Of Asahd, on which she appears to be a key player. Taking to Instagram to stoke the fires of hype, he shared a video of himself and SZA on set, with the latter decked out in her aforementioned warrior garb. "Vocals in," smirks Khaled. "Video in." SZA echoes the sentiment, crying out "the vocals, they're in!"

Interestingly enough, Khaled appears to be undergoing a transformation of his own, from man to steampunk royalty. While it's unclear as to when this collaboration might arrive, SZA remains excited as hell for the due date. "I’ve waited for this man to scream over my voice for 15yrs," she writes, a testament to Khaled's longevity in the game. "HE DA BEST!!" Look for Father Of Asahd to arrive on May 17th, and for this collaboration to surface prior.
