Top Dawg Entertainment announced their "Championship Tour" at the top of 2018 with pretty much every member of the record label. The tour kicked off at the top of May and is expected to conclude in mid-June. Kendrick Lamar and SZA are headlining the tour with support from ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SiR and Lance Skiiwalker. In the midst of the tour, Top Dawg Entertainment has some unfortunate news for SZA fans.
SZA's being pulled from select dates from the "Championship Tour," Top Dawg announced on Twitter.
"I got some bad news. I have to take SZA off for a few days on the tour. Her vocal chords are swollen and she have to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage." He wrote.
He explained that her recent issues with her vocal chords is the reason why she wasn't present at the shows in Arizona and New Mexico. Hopefully, she'll be okay. Top Dawg said that she'll be seeing the doctor again in the coming days and that he'll update everyone once he finds out the doc's verdict.
As for fans who are disappointed that they won't be able to see SZA on the "Championship Tour," Top Dawg said that he's going to figure out a way to make it up. Hopefully, she gets better soon and she'll be back on stage with her TDE family.
