Syd follows up her debut album with "Always Never Home" EP.

During the times when Odd Future was a powerhouse of artists and mischievous kids, it was unlikely to think that Syd would end up venturing off and create her own lane in music. While she was DJing for many of the OF members, she eventually moved onto working on music with her band The Internet and later on, would end up solidifying herself as a solo artist. It was only in February that she released her debut album Fin and now she follows it up, albeit very quickly, with her three song EP Always Never Home.

The project includes the August release of "Bad Dream/No Looking Back" as well as "Moving Mountains" and "On The Road." The three songs maintain the same sultry R&B vibe that she provided on the first single and expands on it. Over the three songs, she creates a moody landscape over some electronic inspired production that's bound to draw you in within the first minute of the opening track. It's a solid project that maintains the consistency of her February release.

While many of us hope to see more music from The Internet in the near future, it seems that Syd and other members of The Internet are shifting their focus on solo releases for the time being. Among dropping the first single back in August, she announced shortly after that she'd be taking the new EP on the road with her. Syd will be embarking on the "Always Never Home" Tour beginning in October. The 22 date tour kicks off the tour in New York City at Irving Plaza on October 9th before ending it in her hometown of Los Angeles at the Novo on December 7th.
