Swizz Beatz shared his favorite videos of DMX on Instagram in honor of the late rapper's birthday.

Swizz Beatz posted his favorite videos and memories of DMX on Instagram, Saturday, in honor of what would've been the late rapper's 51st birthday. X's longtime collaborator also asked fans to share their favorite songs or videos.

"Today we wish you a ultra Happy Birthday King [cake emojis]" Beatz wrote in the caption. "Everyone please help me celebrate the Dog by posting your best X song or vid [praying hands emoji] Long live [X emoji] @dmx the Great [lightning bolt emojis] we miss you bro."

The post featured several clips of X in the studio, some of his live performances, music videos, and more.

Earlier this year, Beatz reflected on X's humanitarian efforts, calling him a "hero for the people"

He told The Guardian: “I know there’s a lot of negative stories, but DMX was a humanitarian. He was a hero for the people. He would give clothes off his back to homeless people and walk home in his boxers. He would pull over the car and talk to a homeless person, or a mother that looked like she needed help with something. He was doing this every day. It wasn’t for press or social media. The way you’d find out what DMX was doing was through other people posting it, never him. He never posted any of these good deeds at all or talked about them. I feel like that’s what people should know: DMX was a giver.”

In honor of DMX's birthday, the state of New York also celebrated its first DMX Day.
