Nipsey Hussle
After years in the making, Nipsey Hussle's debut album, "Victory Lap," has finally arrived.

Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of Nipsey Hussle’s debut album, Victory Lap, for the past few years now, going back to 2012 to be exact when he first announced it, but after numerous setbacks & label issues, the wait is over. At the stroke of midnight, Victory Lap, was finally made available for fans on iTunes.

Laced with 15 tracks in total, the follow up to last year's No Pressure tape features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, YG, The-Dream, Belly, Dom Kennedy, Cee-Lo Green, and Puff Daddy among others. Meanwhile production comes from the likes of 1500 Or Nothin, Lawrence “Rance” Dopson, Mike & Keys, and more.

Speaking on the project and its cohesiveness, Neighborhood Nip said: "The topics is real consistent bro. It’s almost like one topic that I sliced up into sixteen different takes. It's the story of Nipsey Hussle," he said. “This dude who came from L.A., whose dad came from Africa, who was raised in the inner city of Los Angeles in the ’90s, when gang banging was at its peak, when all of the political riots, everything that was going on with LAPD, and all that stuff in L.A. was at its peak, but then who also was raised around books, whose mom put pressure on him to read, and whose dad watched CNN all day. It’s an interesting take on South Central.”

Led by the previously heard songs “Rap Niggas” & “Dedication” with Kendrick Lamar, fans can now stream the West Coast-sounding production in its entirety via Apple Music. Hit play and let us know what you think.
