Netflix has delivered its final trailer for the upcoming season of Stranger Things. Ahead of the second season release, this new trailer is packed with tons of clues and alluring insight into what the next chapter has to offer.
In nearly three minutes, the action-packed trailer sees Will spotting the "shadow," his mom seemingly in a hospital gown freaking out about what is wrong with her son, and Will's whole crew thinking they can stop whatever the "shadow" is up to. Eleven makes a few appearances in the trailer flaunting a full head of hair where she uses her powers to open a door, hopefully returning to set things straight.
A lot more weapons are introduced in the trailer such as guns, slingshots and spiked bats. All the action takes place on Halloween night, as the series creators, The Duffer Brothers, had promised.
The brothers mentioned that the series will probably pull the plug at the end of season four.
"We're thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out," Ross Duffer said, as we reported. "We just have to keep adjusting the story," says Matt Duffer. "Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year."
As for their creative ventures outside of Stanger Things, they admit that working on more than one project at a time isn't their thing. When it comes to their successful Netflix series they have to carefully choose the path the story will take.
"We’ve realized we’re really bad at multitasking," Matt said. "We've been talking to people like Joe Russo, who’s, like, taking over the world while also making the biggest movie of all time [Avengers: Infinity War]," Ross added. "It made me feel really bad about myself," Matt continued. "And then the fans online are like, 'What's taking so long!'" explained Ross. "But there’s a handcrafted quality to Stranger Things. We're a little controlling."
