We first found out that Christopher Jordan "CJ" Wallace, the son of the late Notorious B.I.G., had serious talent after his big screen debut, portraying the younger version of his father, killed when CJ was just a baby, in the film Notorious.
Further flexing his acting chops in the film Kicks back in 2016, Wallace has now made public his plans to follow in his father's footsteps and take a step into the music industry.
According to the Evening Standard, CJ Wallace will join forces with his half-brother Joshua Jahad Russaw, the child of music executive Todd Russaw and CJ's mother Faith Evans.
“At a young age I always knew I wanted to do music, it was inevitable,” he told the London publication. “My family [has] always had my back, whatever I’ve wanted to do they’ve supported. They were always giving me advice on what to do and how to go about things.”
Wallace revealed that he and Russaw plan to release the debut project sometime later on in 2017.
