When you're making music with a group of individuals, disagreements are bound to happen. Sometimes, arguments can be beneficial and sometimes, they can tear a family apart. Yhung T.O., DaBoii, and the rest of SOB X RBE have been hustling to become the biggest stars from Vallejo, California, creating a supergroup to combine their talents. The talented foursome went so hard that they were included on the Kendrick Lamar-curated Black Panther soundtrack, putting forth one of the most significant efforts on the entire project. However, things happen and the group just couldn't get along anymore as Yhung T.O. announced that SOB is no longer a thing.
T.O. shared a text-based post on Instagram announcing the news as he wrote, "Gangin 2 Will Be My Last Album With SOB. Me And @_daboii_ Got sum shit still in the cut fa y'all tho." It appears as though there a disagreement between both artists and the rest of the collective, causing them to officially disband from SOB to attempt success by themselves. From the sounds of things, T.O. doesn't necessarily mind if he doesn't reach the same levels his group did... as long as he's respected at the end of the day.
He explained, "Sumtimes No matter how hard you try to keep shit together sometimes shit just be destined 💔 Who knows what the future a bring tho." There doesn't appear to be any bad blood inside the crew as he shouts them out at the end of his post.
Gangin 2 is due out on September 28.
