Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have had quite the legendary working relationship. Whenever they team up, something iconic is bound to take place. They've worked together for decades and both have enjoyed larger-than-life success because of their contributions to music. Having been with each other from the start, Snoop has seen Dre's career play out in front of his eyes. The same can be said with the roles reversed too. The duo has too many hits for us to even consider listing them off. Snoop Dogg went back into his picture books today to look back on a specific studio session he had with Dr. Dre, sharing the moment on social media so his fans could reminisce with him.
Snoop and Dre can both be seen behind the decks as they listened to some music from the then-unreleased Chronic. As you know, the album went on to become an absolute masterpiece and a necessity for any hip-hop fan's collection. Snoop appears on the majority of songs from The Chronic, continuing his solid relationship with Dre for years afterwards. The album was released in late 1992 but as you can tell from this throwback shot, Dre was working on it for a while before then. The photo is dated from 1991.
Many are pointing out that Snoop looks a bit like Nipsey Hussle in the comments. What do you think?
