Snoop Dogg comes through with a new movie.

First time making an album-themed movie, dis finna be a breeze! Last week, you might remember that legendary rapper Snoop Dogg teamed up with up-and-coming comedian HaHa Davis for the hilarious "Dis Finna Be A Breeze" video, which came from Snoop's recently released Make America Crip Again album. However, MACA wasn't the first project Snoop released this year; in May, the Doggfather released Neva Left, his fifteenth studio album. The project was largely accepted as a return to form, with features from Rick Rock, Tray Dee, K Camp, Too Short, Devin The Dude, Wiz Khalifa, Method Man, Redman and more. With MACA having dropped so recently, it was easy to assume that Snoop had moved on from Neva Left, but it would appear that he's not finished quite yet.

Today, Snoop has shared the epic forty-five minute Neva Left: The Movie, an companion piece featuring music and themes from the album. Directed by D. Baker, the film features a sprawling narrative with an extensive cast of characters. Unfortunately, I was not able to consume to piece in its entirety, but what I have seen promises a charming low budget aesthetic, hilarious one liners, action, fine asses, weed, Snoop swagger, some questionable acting, some pointed political and social commentary, a pimp, the insult "Free-Willy-Shaniqua's Sister," and more. Honestly, if you love Snoop, you may as well throw this one on, as you'll no doubt derive some enjoyment out of it.

Behold, Neva Left: The Movie in all its spectacular glory. Honestly, if a film ends in "the movie," it generally tends to be a gamble. Still, this is Snoop Dogg we're talking about, and he's one of the most respected emcees in the game. Check it out by hitting the play button below, and be sure to go check out Snoop's previous two 2017 albums if you haven't already.
