Skepta's been a bit under the radar for the past few months.  Fans have been eagerly waiting for the grime artist to release his official follow-up to Konnichiwa although no updates have been made as of yet. Skeppy's absence from the public eye likely has something to do with a new album in the works, but it may have something to do with family as well. The rapper recently revealed that he welcomed his first child into the world and hit the 'Gram for the big reveal.

Skepta is not only an acclaimed rapper and producer, but he's also a new dad. The grime emcee took to Instagram to reveal the first photo of his daughter and added a touching caption to it. "My guardian angel," he wrote along with the selfie.

Skepta initially revealed that he was having a kid back in July when he shared a photo of a sonogram of his child. A few months before, he confirmed his romantic relationship with Naomi Campbell which sparked rumors that she was the mother of his child -- which isn't the case. Other rumors surfaced that Skepta's child's mother is his long-time secret girlfriend.

The birth of Skepta's child hopefully gave the rapper some newfound inspiration to hit the studio. The rapper released his single, "Neighborhood Watch" in late 2018 which many hoped was a sign that he has a new album on the way.
