Surviving R. Kelly did exactly what it set out to do. For years, the women that have accused R. Kelly have not been taken seriously. We've all heard the stories about the singer urinating on women and nothing has been made of that. There wasn't even much said about how he married Aaliyah when she was 15-years-old. Now, people are finally taking action as a widespread attempt to cancel R. Kelly from the industry has begun. Many have started to speak out against the artist, claiming they had made mistakes by collaborating with him. Despite Kelly claiming that he will "expose" all of his accusers one by one, Shark Tank star Daymond John has heard enough and he wants him gone.
So many women and men have spoken about how R. Kelly has committed acts of sexual misconduct in the past and it was all documented in Surviving R. Kelly. The entertainment industry has been reacting to the Lifetime docu-series along with the rest of the world and Shark Tank's Daymond John decided to voice his own opinion on Twitter.
"Watching #SurvivingRKelley. I am so sick to my damn stomach!" wrote the FUBU CEO. "Hey @rkelly , please don’t take your life now that we all know how fucking disgusting you are. Thats way too easy! Make amends with the victims and the families, serve your time and then kill yourself while in jail."
John didn't hold back at all and while many will be upset by his choice of words, he shares a sentiment that people will undoubtedly agree with. If he did the things he's being accused of, R. Kelly should absolutely make amends with his victims and their families.
