Last year saw many of our favorite artists releasing new music, marking an important year in hip-hop. The world of pop music slowed down a little with top forces including Selena Gomez seemingly taking time to themselves. The star was quiet for much of 2018, appearing on "Taki Taki" with Cardi B, DJ Snake and Ozuna. In a similar move, the singer has just released her newest track, forming another unexpected four-piece.
Earlier this week, Selena Gomez was surpassed as the most followed woman on Instagram, losing her lead to Ariana Grande. Perhaps this is her strategy to get back on top of the social media platform, dropping off a new song with Benny Blanco, J Balvin and Tainy to get some hype moving her way. "I Can't Get Enough" was released today and much like her last musical appearance, it's definitely more of an electronic vibe. J Balvin brings some Latin flavor to the mix while Benny Blanco and Tainy's contributions to the instrumental are strong.
Tainy told ET that it was a pleasure working with Selena on the new cut. "She's a queen," gushed the musician. "It's such an honor to have her on my first single. It's insane. Hopefully, we can continue to do some more work together."
What do you think of the new song?
Quotable Lyrics:
No one's gotta know, we can keep it lowkey
I'll be fine alone, long as you're alone with me
So incredible, unforgettable on me
Keep your body on me
