It didn't take long for ScHoolboy Q to muster up the courage and bring a scenic element to his new single "Numb Numb Juice." The TDE rapper's first solo endeavor in almost three year's time comes loaded with tough gong imagery.
Q smartly chose to drop the link to the "Numb Numb Juice" music video several hours in advance, in order to generate a little buildup. TDE fans took the bait running, lining up on "Q" to save a spot at 1 pm: the earliest point at which the video could be viewed. As you'll likely notice, ScHoolboy prolongs the thread insinuated by the single's cover design: that of an indignant rapper painting his own road markings red.
As it turns out, ScHoolboy Q is doing playing the enforcer, insofar as his association with TDE permits it. After a three-year hiatus, only the most ardent of ScHoolboy Q followers should be gesturing towards the first piece of birthday cake, and deservingly so. I think an overwhelming majority will agree: Schoolboy Q's work in the visual department adds an element of refinement to his new song. He also incorporates a good number of topical gags I'll refrain from spoiling ahead of time. Hit us with your thoughts in the comment section below the writeup.
