Nominated twice this year, ScHoolboy Q stole the show Sunday night. He took his young daughter to the gala and wore a pink hoodie with the words "girl power" etched on the front. His daughter wore a matching pink suit.
Last week, the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beat 1 radio that his next album would be about his life as a father and the responsibilities that go along bringing up a girl.
Q was nominated for Best Rap Album for Blank Face LP and Best Rap Performance for "That Part," featuring Kanye West. He lost both times to Chance The Rapper.
