Saweetie is bringing back an age old McDonald's fad this summer, so get ready for the return of the McGangBang. After dropping her latest single, "Tap In," off her forthcoming album, Pretty B*tch Music, Saweetie decided to treat her fans to a little fast food tutorial. The rapper went live on Instagram to conduct the session, where she instructed her fans on how to make the infamous McDonald's McGangBang.
To create the hybrid monstrosity, one must order a McChicken and a McDouble, and wedge the whole McChicken in between the two meat patties. Saweetie also decided to stuff some fries inside her stacked burger, and proceeded to take a massive bite of her concoction while The Isley Brother’s classic “In Between The Sheets” played in the background.
Thanks to Saweetie indulging in a McGangBang, folks on Twitter are now experiencing a major blast from the past. While some were impressed with her creation, others accused her of falsely taking credit for inventing the concept. However, as pointed out by HipHopDX, the McGangbang can be traced back to the early 2000s at the very least. Urban Dictionary cites the sandwich's place of origin as a McDonald's restaurant in Daytona, Florida.
Check out some of the reactions to Saweetie's McGangBang feast.
