Russell Westbrook has laced up a number of exclusive colorways of his Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 signature sneaker this year, ranging from the teddy bear-themed Valentine's Day PE to the "Super Soaker" joint that came packaged like the '90s water gun.
Most recently, Westbrook has been on a Pokemon kick, which includes the "Pikachu" Why Not Zer0.2 he debuted last week and the "Charizard" rendition he pulled out on Sunday afternoon.
As a tribute to the high-flying, fire-breathing Pokemon character, the "Charizard" Why Not Zer0.2 PE comes dressed in shades of orange along with hits of blue as a nod to the inside of the dragon's wings. Additionally, the kicks feature a Pokemon logo on the tongue, just like the "Pikachu" colorway.
Westbrook notched another triple-double (25, 11 & 11) with the heat on his feet, but the Thunder still came up short to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, which puts OKC in the eighth spot with five regular season games remaining.
Up next is a nationally televised home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. Tune-in to TNT to see if Westbrook breaks out another Pokemon-themed colorway.
