Believe it or not, Ronny J is holding unpublished material from XXXTentacion. The Florida-born producer made the assertion on Instagram after paying tribute to his fallen comrade on what would have been his 21st birthday. "We still got some music @xxxtentacion x RJ," the producer wrote in an IG Story update. "It ain't over."
Ronny J and XXXTentacion were frequent collaborators, with the producer contributing heavily on A Ghetto Christmas Carol! EP, and the rapper's debut ?. In good faith, XXXTentacion appeared on Ronny J's compilation record OMG Ronny, in an effort to bolster the producer's name, beyond the delimitations of "SoundCloud Rap."
Ronny J was among those who attended XXXTentacion's open casket funeral service alongside hip-hop artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, PnB Rock, Ugly God, Denzel Curry, Kid Trunks, Fat Nick, and a plethora of X's close friends. Although Ronny J claims to be holding unpublished X material, there's no word on when and what type of recordings will become available, bet it a couple of loosies, or a full-length project administered by the producer.
Check out Ronny J's Instagram page for a roundup of XXXTentacion-themed coverage. The producer is steadfastly branching out to rapping and modeling in the new year. Be on the lookout for Ronny J updates, as well news on the matter at hand: XXXTentation's treasure trove recordings.
