R. Kelly has been making a ton of news from behind bars.

R. Kelly's alleged crimes have been very well-documented in the media and his alleged victims are adamant that they want to see justice served. As of right now, the disgraced R&B singer is behind bars and awaiting trial, while also having to deal with other pending indictments. For instance, it was reported by Vulture that Kelly recently plead not guilty to an indictment that included nine counts of racketeering and sexual abuse. Within this indictment, Kelly was accused of knowingly exposing two women to herpes. In fact, one of these alleged victims was a minor.

Aside from these matters, Kelly is looking to get himself out of jail, once again. If you remember, we reported on how Kelly tried to convince the judge to let him out of prison, twice during the month of April. Of course, the Coronavirus is making its way through the prison system and Kelly wants to make sure he stays safe of the illness.

According to TMZ, this time around, Kelly and his lawyer are claiming that the singer is "likely diabetic" and could be at risk of death should he become infected with COVID-19.

The judge has yet to make a decision although they fear Kelly could intimidate witnesses should he be allowed to leave early. The singer is making the case that he will be on his best behavior although it remains to be seen if his efforts will get him anywhere.
