No, Rihanna still has not released a new album, but it doesn't mean she isn't up to big things. We recently reported on the singer announcing she would be launching her very own luxury brand, FENTY. The latter broke major records for the songstress, including her crowning as the first woman to ever establish an original brand with the Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton holding company (LVMH). Moreover, Rih Rih furthered her reign by acquiring the distinction of being the first woman of color to do so. As such, the Bajan darling has been partying and celebrating the fruits of her labor as of late with friends and family. Even soccer star Neymar ditched a prestigious award show to turn up with Ms. Fenty in Paris.
And now, the "Umbrella" singer has offered fans a glimpse into the FENTY Maison. Precisely, T Magazine released an exclusive interview with Rihanna which also included a first look at the budding line. The artist and entrepreneur was asked a series of interesting questions, including her thoughts on fashion's historical lack of inclusivity: "You're going to be black wherever you go. And I don't know if it's unfortunate or fortunate, because I love being black. So, sorry for those who don't like it — that's the first thing you see before you even hear my voice . . . I do know that the reason I'm here is not because I'm black. It's because of what I have to offer."
FENTY sales begin on May 24th at a Parisian pop-up store, and full available worldwide is set to commence online on May 29th. Moreover, the full interview with more details on the FENTY house can be found here.
