Rihanna has been doing a lot lately - her fine-ass Savage Fenty lingerie line, her role in Ocean's 8, her numerous Fenty clothing drops and not to mention her Fenty beauty products. With all combined, we haven't received any new music from the singer, which is what started her mega success. The last album by way of the Barbadian Princess was her 2016 Anti and according to reports, Riri didn't like how it performed and she knows she needs a new tape full of smash hits.
“She’s currently recording two albums – one full of chart-friendly songs, and another made up of moody and experimental tracks – and is considering releasing a double disc if she feels the songs won’t mesh well on the same album," the source added.
Apparently last year Riri submitted two songs to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) titled "Phatty" and "Only One Who Knows." This is defiantly a sign that more beats are on the way and "Phatty" was reportedly worked on by legendary Jamaican artist Buju Banton.
As for other features on Riri's future tape, it's safe to assume that H.E.R. may be making an appearance since the California bred singer said they are working on something. “We’ve got some secret projects coming up,” she confirmed, adding “something like that."
We're ready when you are, Rihanna.
