Rick & Morty became one of the most popular series on television in the past few years. With season three ending in the fall of 2017, fans have been eagerly awaited for season four. At one point, the fate of the show was up in the air after the co-creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, revealed that the series wasn't ordered for season four. Of course, the demand was so high, as you could expect for a show with a fanbase that ran McDonald's out limited edition Szechuan Sauce in a matter of hours, that it was only right that a season four was ordered.
Rick & Morty have returned, announcing season four of their Adult Swim show. In a new video teaser, the eccentric grandpa-grandson duo revealed that they'll be returning in November 2019. "Everybody, Rick and Morty is back!" Rick says in the clip. "Brand new season four in November 2019. This year!"
Morty adds, "I can't believe we're back. We're going to be back, I mean. In 2019... of November."
Although they didn't announce an actual date, they began teasing season four last year August after Adult Swim ordered 70 episodes from the series. It's unsure what exactly we could expect from the new season but given it's growing popularity, including a co-sign from Kanye West, we might see more celebrity faces, even rappers, make guest appearances on the show much like Logic did a few years back.
