Of all the stellar releases this year, Rich The Kid has been a surprising factor. We weren't expecting to fall in love with The World Is Yours but it ended up being a solid part of his discography. It may not be the project that everybody was hoping for but each song goes pretty hard and that's all we can ask for from Rich. The man has been working hard to build his label with Famous Dex and Jay Critch each playing their roles inside of Rich Forever. RTK has given shine to both Dexter and Critch this year through their own album releases but it's time for him to focus on his own music now as he's revealed the release date for his next album.
For weeks, Rich has been teasing the project, saying that he's working on some of the best music of his life. He recently dropped "Mo Paper" with YG and we now know when we can expect the follow-up to The World Is Yours. Taking to his social media outlets, Rich announced that the sequel will be dropping on January 18. With many fans being made out of the first instalment, we're excited to see how Rich can transition into the second version.
We're getting to a point where more and more artists are stating their intentions to drop early next year. With Migos, Rae Sremmurd, and now Rich The Kid teasing new works, it looks like this year's momentum will comfortably swing into the next.
