It wasn't long ago that two of rap's new school - Rich The Kid and Lil Uzi Vert - found themselves in a heated feud, which coalesced in a classic case of fight or flight. Those keeping score may recall that Rich opted for flight, though we won't hold it against him. While Uzi and Rich once turned a local Starbucks from a safe haven to a warzone, it would appear that the pair have since decided to settle their differences. As revealed during a pre World Is Yours 2 interview on Big Boy's Neighborhood, Rich actually crossed paths with Uzi, and the energy was decidedly different.
"We ain't got no beef, we straight," confirms Rich, when asked by Big Boy. "We was at the same place last week. We were at the same jewelry store. It was a coincidence, we was there at the same time. I didn't know he was going to be there, he didn't know I was going to be there." Though he doesn't elaborate on the nature of their exchange, it seems likely that both parties are ready to move on from their previous feud, and continue down their own respective paths. Perhaps it was fate that brought them together that day. Perhaps it was a simple love of shiny things.
