Just last month, Rich Homie Quan hopped on the phone with us & told us in an exclusive interview that he & Young Thug were on “good terms,” saying “I'm on good terms with everybody. We don't have any bad terms, it's just like, now we're solo artists, you feel me? I think people forget that we were always supposed to be solo artists, we just happened to collaborate on a project. There was never supposed to be another project like that.” However, it looks Quan’s terminology of what “good terms” means is different than most because just the other day he revealed that he and Thugger aren’t talking at the moment.
During his interview with 99 Jamz, the ATL rapper clarified that he & Thugger don’t have any beef, but definitely are not talking at the moment.
“We don’t got no bad blood, but we don’t talk,” Quan said. “We don’t talk every day like you would think we would talk every day. But we don’t got no bad blood. I just leave […] you know, it is what it is. I wish him the best.”
In addition to that, Quan also mentioned that he never wanted to sign to Birdman to begin with and that Rich Gang was just a fun collaborative project for them to try while first starting out. “I never wanted to sign with Birdman. Nothing against Bird, but I just didn't want to sign with him.” Quan says.
