The attorney also says witnesses will attest that Remy wasn't even there.

Rapper Remy Ma's legal drama is heating up after she turned herself in to authorities on Wednesday. The Love & Hip Hop New York star was accompanied by her lawyer when she was booked on charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment. This could send the rapper back to prison for a lengthy amount of time considering she's currently on probation following a six-year stint behind bars.

According to Remy's lawyer Dawn Florio, there is unquestionably no truth behind the allegations against her client. She says Remy was home nursing her four-month-old daughter when the alleged attack on Brittney Taylor, Remy's Love & Hip Hop co-star, was supposed to have happened. “She’s going to fight this to the end,” Florio said.

Remy's longtime friend and collaborator Fat Joe showed up to the court to support her, along with her husband, rapper Papoose. After posting bond, the couple left the court hand in hand as they navigated their way through the paparazzi. Florio admits that Remy was at the Irving Plaza on the night in question, but the rapper was home with her family by 9:30 p.m., the time that Taylor says she was punched in the face. The attorney also states that there are several witnessed who were present at the venue who will go on record saying Remy "had absolutely nothing to do with this incident."

Florio says Taylor "is a liar, and my client did not touch her." Recently, Taylor did an interview where she detailed what led up to her alleged assault. She said that during Spring Break she was with Remy's step-daughter Dejanae. Taylor claims that she defended Dejanae from a man who was beating her up. “What happened with me and Dej in Miami is I saved her—I saved her life, and [Remy] got aggressive [when Britteny told her at Irving]."

Remy is scheduled to return to court on May 24.
