“I hear it so frequently from people who aren’t black people."

Revolt TV's State of Culture dropped off another episode, this time focusing on the beef between Lana Del Ray and Azealia BanksVic Mensa calling out XXXtentacion, Kanye West and the viral video that saw Lil Xan saying the N-word. When the time came for hosts Joe Budden, Remy Ma, Jinx, and Scottie Beam to unpack their thoughts, right away Jinx said although she doesn't feel "deeply about it" she's still "not okay" with anyone who isn't black to use the word.

"Everyone wants to be a ni**ga until it's time be a ni**a," she said. When it came to Scottie he explained how Xan's setting (a mall food court) had a lot to do with it. "I can't imagine what that looks like outside in the places I frequent," he explained. When it came time for Remy Ma to lay down her opinion, she told her crew how she doesn't get offended by most words, like the n-word.

"When it comes to the word [...] I don't usually get offended regardless of what your nationality is if I don't feel like you're using it as a racial slur," she said. “I hear it so frequently from people who aren’t black people. Like Fat Joe, he’s the blackest Spanish guy on this planet earth and I’ve never questioned it."
