Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V has been one of the highest-selling albums of the entire year and fan reactions have been mixed. Most people are just excited to be listening to the fifth installment of the series after waiting for so long that they can't really decide if it's great or just good. It may not have the same impact on Weezy's legacy as Carter II or Carter III but it's a complete body of work that will remain in our rotation for months. Tunechi even included his daughter, Reginae Carter, on the album, featuring her voice on "Famous." She's since been showing herself bumping the album all over her social media, even sharing a video of her baby sibling jamming to "Famous." Of course, Nae has been around the business for a while now and she's fully comfortable on stage. She even got up during one of her dad's performances to rap along to "A Milli."
The Carter III track is one of most people's favorites in the artist's discography and it seems to also be a family hit. Reginae posted a video from Weezy's performance to her Instagram page, reminding him that "he's ill," to which he met her with a big smile. She also came through with a little concert of her own, rapping ferociously at her phone.
It seems that both Reginae and her father have the same pick for who the greatest of all time is as they would both choose Lil Wayne in a heartbeat.
