In late September, Rapsody dropped her underrated "Laila's Wisdom," which featured some collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Anderson Paak, and more. The North Carolina rhymer continued her end-of-year run with a standout performance at the BET cyphers, once again proving the fact that the art of lyricism was still alive and well. In fact, anybody who claims to be a hip-hop head should most definitely check out Laila's Wisdom, as Rapsody managed to successfully deliver some old-school flavor to a new school audience. Plus, it's not easy to hold your own against Kendrick Lamar on a track, let alone outshine him.
Now, Rapsody has announced the "Wisdom Is Power" tour, which will consist of fifteen stops in various American states. While the tour is somewhat on the brief side, the rapper will find herself hitting up New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, before wrapping things up with a pair of Texas shows.
