This week, Slim Jxmmi sparked up rumors of a potential breakup of Rae Sremmurd when he delivered on now-deleted tweets in which he asserted he was "not Rae Sremmurd," telling users, "Y'all won."
Soon enough, he would announce the arrival of his own solo project, only adding fuel to the fire. But, it looks like the literal band of brothers isn't quite done with one another yet and they took to social media to collectively dispel any thought of a potential breakup by simply tweeting out, "Brothers gonna be brothers, it’s SREMMLIFE forever," on Saturday (January 12th).
It's relieving news for fans who were holding out for the forthcoming SREMMLIFE 4 project that the duo has been cooking up. Let's hope that it doesn't take away from the solo Jxmmi project though. With the arrival of their SR3MM studio album, we got a full taste of just what both men are capable of creating when left to their own devices and while there couldn't be one without the other, their solo sounds underscored the talent that the two brothers share.
According to Swae Lee, SREMMLIFE 4 is scheduled to arrive early this year and in his words, will prove to be a "classic."
