After a long wait, we finally have a release date for Rae Sremmurd's triple album.

After teasing their triple-disc album for much of this year, a release date has finally been granted for Rae Sremmurd's SR3MM. Along with side projects from both members of the duo in SwaeCation and Jxmtroduction, the long-awaited project will be arriving on May 4, according to Swae's Twitter account. With Friday being a go-to day for album releases and major announcements these days, fans of the group will not have to wait long at all as the album(s) officially hit next week.

Both Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have released songs from the album, as well as official Sremm collaborations over the last few months. Each of the released songs has been impressive with "Powerglide," "T'd Up," "Hurt To Look," "Brxnks Truck," "Chanel," "Guatemala," and "CLOSE" keeping fan interest high in advance of the full project. With a project as long as their upcoming triple disc, dropping seven tracks prior to the release date is not too big of a deal since there will be approximately 20 more previously unheard cuts coming next week. The rollout has been unique but, as frequent collaborator Mike Will claimed, they can do no wrong when they are all working together.

It will be intriguing to see how the public reacts to such a lengthy project. The duo has undoubtedly gone to lengths to keep each track sounding fresh. Since Jxmmi's tracks have their own identities as opposed to Swae's, each section of the project will likely sound different, making for an exciting listen come May 4.
